What you'll own

You’ll work across theme architecture, UX implementation, performance, and platform integrations. This is not a handoff-only execution role. We want someone who can challenge assumptions, spot structural problems, and help shape a cleaner storefront system.

• Build and maintain Shopify themes, sections, templates, and reusable storefront components.
• Own page speed, stability, and implementation quality across custom experiences.
• Integrate tools across analytics, merchandising, subscriptions, search, loyalty, and retention.
• Partner with strategists, designers, and CRO leads to translate ideas into durable code.
• Help create development standards that make future work faster and cleaner.

• You can move quickly without shipping fragile work.
• You understand why performance budgets and UX details matter commercially.
• You can debug messy real-world storefronts, not just build pristine greenfield demos.
• You write code that another senior engineer can pick up without decoding a maze.
